Tri-County Literacy Center Latest Janice Cuddahee Fund Grantee!
Literacy New York is thrilled to announce another recipient of tutor training workshops through LNY's Janice Cuddahee Tutor Support Project, an activity supported by the Janice Cuddahee Fund (JCF). JCF's current project awards online tutor training workshops to deserving literacy programs, supporting them as they train volunteers to work with adult learners.
Roseann Anzalone, the Executive Director of the Tri-County Literacy Center sees this award as a way to build capacity in their newly-formed program, allowing them to partner with other community organizations: "With this award I am feeling quite a bit less reticent about our ability to keep up with the requests that we will be facing as we work together with these other organizations. I cannot thank you and the LNY Board enough for your support as we grow this new organization and start impacting our neighbor's lives."
What a great way to honor Janice's legacy!
