She'll be presenting a workshop session called:
Literacy New York Online Tutor Training: Builds Capacity, Creates Successful Tutors, and Increases Educational Gain.

The session talks about why the I2O online training was developed, the roll out to the LNY network, and its effectiveness. Participants will also learn how the training is managed and how it has helped recruitment, saved money, and removed logistical problems. Online tutor training "Builds Literate Communities", enhancing capacity in programs, creating more effective tutors out of volunteers, and ultimately offering more literacy services to adults in need.
