Friends and supporters in the community joined with Literacy New York Buffalo-Niagara (LNYBN) staff, tutors, students, and board members for a fun night featuring great food, artisan brews, live music, and a spectacular silent auction and literacy lottery.

The organization is pleased to announce that this year’s event was the most successful in the fifty-three year history of the organization, raising over $41,000, with all proceeds from the evening directly benefiting the organization’s adult literacy programming which serves approximately 300 adult learners, providing them with the opportunity to succeed and the confidence to achieve their personal goals.

LNYBN is extremely grateful to the many friends, supporters, sponsors, donors, and volunteers who helped to make this year’s Toast to Literacy our most successful yet!
