The highlight of the conference for many was the beautiful memorial luncheon held for LNY's fearless leader, Janice Cuddahee. Friends and colleagues from the New York State Education Department and the Literacy New York network travelled far and wide to attend. Many tears were shed during a heartfelt, touching video that showed scenes from throughout Janice's life, using a soundtrack of her favorite music. Several longtime friends shared special stories that ranged from mournful to downright hilarious--a perfect way to honor Janice's life. 

LNY Executive Director Kathy Houghton announced the launch of the Janice Cuddahee Fund to promote adult literacy. Much more information on that coming soon!
